About Dr. Liz Woodruff

I am a California licensed clinical psychologist (PSY26236) with over 9 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, drug and alcohol treatment centers, community mental health clinics, and hospitals.

I earned my Ph.D. from the University of North Texas I completed an American Psychological Association-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Stanford University, and American Psychological Association-accredited post-doctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland where I specialized in treating individuals with eating disorders and substance abuse disorders.

I have advanced expertise treating adults and adolescents with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and emotional eating. I also help those struggling with weight management concerns.

I was born in Tulsa, OK, grew up in Dallas, and now live in San Francisco with my dog, Frankie.
